Valiant Appraisal Services was founded to provide more than just numbers—we deliver clarity, confidence, and strategic insights in the most crucial real estate decisions. Meet David Ziccardi, Founder & Certified Appraiser in NJ & PA
David’s journey in real estate valuation began at Independence Appraisal Group in Glenside, Pennsylvania, and grew through his work at First Atlantic Appraisal Company in Sewell, New Jersey. In 2017, he launched Valiant Appraisal Services, building on years of experience to create a practice focused on precision, integrity, and client-centered service. He is a Pennsylvania & New Jersey State Certified Residential Appraiser serving a wide range of clients, including banks, attorneys, estate planners, investors, and homeowners.
David founded Valiant Appraisal Services with a mission: to deliver appraisals built for real-world impact. Blending rigorous analysis, deep industry experience, and clear, human-centered communication, he helps clients confidently navigate high-stakes real estate decisions.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending his time with his wife and daughter, as well as hiking and playing pickleball.
Meet Melissa Paul,
Real Estate Analyst
Melissa Paul is a Real Estate Appraiser Trainee at Valiant Appraisal Services, working under the supervision of David Ziccardi. She is gaining hands-on experience in residential property valuation across southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey, contributing to appraisals that serve banks, attorneys, estate planners, and homeowners.
With a background in interior design and a keen eye for property detail, Melissa assists in preparing appraisal reports that reflect both accuracy and care. She is actively building expertise in market analysis, property inspection, and USPAP compliance as she works toward full certification.
Melissa holds a B.S. in Interior Design from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Outside the office, she enjoys cooking, crafting, and spending time with her family.
